Showcasing Hot Sauces
Silver Spring Foods, Inc., Eau Claire, Wis., introduced a Signature Sauce Line including Honey Chipotle Aioli, Garlic Parmesan Aioli, Horseradish Bistro Aioli, and Hot Honey Chili Sauce.
"The Signature Sauce Line truly encapsulates Silver Spring Foods—offering something for everyone, from bold and trendy to sweet and classic," said Samantha Bibbs, food technologist. “Crafted by our ‘Zing Masters,’ this lineup honors our heritage while also leaning into today's trends.”
Silver Spring Foods is a subsidiary of horseradish grower and process Huntsinger Farms.
On-Trend Tastes

Lee Kum Kee USA, City of Industry, Calif., said it put a "swicy spin" on sriracha with a new Honey Sriracha Sauce. It debuted in March (MSRP $5.49) and is available at select retailers nationwide. It joins Lee Kum Kee's Sriracha Chili Sauce and Sriracha Mayo in the brand's lineup.
“With our Honey Sriracha, we're reimagining a fan favorite by infusing the ideal balance of sweetness and spice," said Elaine Thai, vice president of marketing. "This launch not only reflects the evolving taste of our consumers but also reaffirms our dedication to bringing innovative and exciting flavors into every kitchen."
Bee Spicy


Peru’s Alicorp S.A.A., Lima, used Alicorp USA LLC, Miami, last year to introduce Tari Amarillo Hotish Sauce and Rocoto Hot Sauce. The company came back this year with three more flavors featuring native Peruvian peppers: Zesty Verde (including huacatay, a dark green minty herb), Tropical Kick (with smoky rocoto pepper and onion) and Smoky Heat (featuring rocoto pepper and herbs).

Peruvian Peppers
This January saw Mizkan America Inc. introduce a RAGÚ x Hot Ones Limited Edition Heat Pack, in collaboration with the popular YouTube series sensation “Hot Ones,” the show famous for hot questions and even hotter wings. Varieties included Fiery Garlic (Hot), Chipotle Blaze (Hotter) and Chile Inferno (Hottest).

McIlhenny Company, Avery Island, La., introduced its first Mexican-style hot sauce, TABASCO Salsa Picante for foodservice operators. It comes in an easy-to-squeeze 16.2-oz. bottle, bulk-friendly half-gallon size, and a portion-control packet.
“Salsa Picante brings a new dimension of flavor to any dish,” said McIlhenny’s Gary Evans, global corporate chef. “It has a garlicky twang and mild yet savory heat that works beautifully across so many dishes—from breakfast favorites like Picante Eggs Benedict, to bold dinner entrées like Spicy Coffee Crusted Steak Fajitas.”
Say Olé
McCormick & Company, Hunt Valley, Md., extended its Cholula Mexican hot sauce line with Cholula Extra Hot, an “extra spicy” variety with arbol and piquin peppers in a blend of spices.
“Our fans took to social media to tell us they wanted a hotter variety of Cholula, and we heard them loud and clear,” said Valda Coryat, North America vice president of marketing. “… We're excited to deliver authentic, Mexican flavor with extra hot heat so that people can continue to enjoy Cholula in new and exciting ways."
