Freeland Foods, Northbrook, Ill., extended its Go Raw organic sprouted snacks line with new Snacking Granola in five varieties: Sweet & Salty, Dark Chocolate Chunk, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Cranberry Almond and Cherry Berry Chocolate Chunk. Snacking Granola debuted in February at Wegmans and Sprouts Farmers Market nationwide. It is available online at goraw.com with prices starting at $7.99.

“During a team meeting last year, we realized many of us snack on granola straight from the bag,” said Peter Grumhaus, CEO of Go Raw. "But the dense, crumbly texture of traditional granola just didn't deliver the satisfying crunch we craved. That sparked the idea for Snacking Granola: bigger, lighter, and crispier clusters crafted specifically for snacking.”

Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA), Tillamook, Ore., introduced two limited-edition releases for summer. They include Salty Caramel Pretzel, and an Apple Crisp that features vanilla ice cream with baked oatmeal streusel and crisp apple pieces. Tillamook Ice Cream—including the Salty Caramel Pretzel and Apple Crisp flavors—is available nationwide country at Kroger, Albertsons, Safeway, Publix, Ahold Delhaize, and many other grocery stores.

"To create the Apple Crisp flavor, we used a recipe from my mother as a base to help us translate apple crisp into ice cream,” said Hunter Clayton, TCCA senior R&D associate scientist. “We all know the smell and unforgettable taste of a warm apple crisp, and what better way to tap into that nostalgia than a homemade recipe."

Until now, the kids' yogurt pouch category has offered low-fat dairy, whole milk, and plant-based yogurt options—but formulas still contain added sugars or don’t have the balance of whole milk + 0g added sugars. Addressing that challenge was Little Spoon Inc., New York, N.Y., which kicked off 2025 with a four-item line of YoGos kids yogurts. Each features organic whole milk Greek yogurt, 4g of protein, real fruit (including strawberries and mango), hidden veggies (including squash and purple sweet potato), and gut-friendly probiotics.

Varieties include Strawberry Bananza, Apple Berry Blast, Peachy Pearadise and Tropical Mango Twist. YoGos prices start at $2.82 per 3.5oz pouch.

Healthier Options
